Forasmuch as God Almighty has called out a body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and has blessed us to be formed into a New Testament Church, we the undersigned do covenant together to serve our Holy God and one another by striving to observe the following rules of gospel order:
By the enabling grace of God, we shall
- Regularly attend the worship services. (Heb. 10:25; Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 1:10)
- Pray for one another. (1 Sam. 12:23-25; James 5:16; Eph. 6:18)
- Bear one another’s burdens. (Gal. 6:2)
- Not speak evil of one another, and refuse to gossip about one of God’s beloved. (Prov. 26:20; James 1:19)
- Seek at all times to promote unity and harmony in the church. (Prov. 25:23; Psalm 133:1; Eph. 4:3, 13)
- Endeavor to live a holy life before God and man. (1 Peter 1:15; Prov. 9:10; Lev. 20:7)
- Seek biblical answers to our problems as well as build our lives on the Holy Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16)
- Witness to others of the love of God in Jesus Christ as described in the great commission. (Matt. 28:19-20)
- Minister to the needs of others; especially in the household of faith. (Mark 10:45; Gal. 6:10)
- Support the church financially with our tithes and offerings. (2 Cor. 8:9; 1 Cor. 9:14)
- Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18)
- Love one another as Christ has loved us. (John 13:34-35, John 15:12; 1 John 4:7-8)
